Course Description
This Level 4 Carbon Laser Peel Training Course provides in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge in the safe and effective delivery of carbon-based Q-switched Nd: YAG laser treatments. This course is designed for qualified therapists seeking to expand their advanced skin rejuvenation portfolio using medical-grade laser technology.
Learners will gain a thorough understanding of skin anatomy, Fitzpatrick classification, contraindications, treatment planning, and MHRA-compliant device operation. The course explores dual-phase treatment mechanisms, including carbon-assisted exfoliation and dermal collagen stimulation. Emphasis is placed on client suitability, consultation standards, laser safety, and post-treatment protocols in accordance with UK aesthetic and regulatory frameworks.
On successful completion, learners will be competent in performing carbon laser peels on various skin types, ensuring safe, reproducible results and enhanced client satisfaction.
Prerequisite Requirements
A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Anatomy and Physiology is required (Ofqual-regulated or equivalent). Alternatively, a Level 3 qualification in Beauty Therapy, Laser & Light Therapies, or a Level 3 Healthcare qualification may be accepted.
