Hot and Cold Plasma Treatments in Aesthetic Practice
This is a comprehensive training course on hot and cold plasma technology, which is a rapidly advancing area in aesthetic medicine that has captured the attention of practitioners worldwide.
This course will introduce you to the innovative system, a device that seamlessly integrates both cold and hot plasma techniques to deliver exceptional, client focused results.
Pre-requisites
Students will have already achieved a Level 3 qualification in beauty. A plasma qualification would be an advantage but not necessary. Qualification in micro needling, derma roller or derma stamp is required.
The duration of this course is 16 hours – 8 hours, I day practical and 8 hours theory and online to include 2 case studies to be submitted within 8 weeks.

Science and Physics behind Plasma – What is plasma, how it is formed and what happens. Functions of hot and cold plasma and comparisons.
Harnessing Plasma Technology for Clinical Skincare Success – Actions and mechanism of plasma treatments in various treatments and results on the skin. Collagen and Elastin Stimulation.
Off-Label Use of Plasma Based Therapies for Inflammatory Conditions (e.g., Arthritis)
Expanding Clinical Horizons with Cold (Non Thermal) Plasma – Core principles of cold plasma treatments, applications and suitable candidates. Treatment Goals and Clinical Applications.
Treatment Contraindications and Safety Guidelines and Protocols

Theory – Multiple Choice Questions, SAQ and Case Studies – Theory questions and online study to be
completed before the practical day.
Practical Assessments – The student will have to apply their knowledge learnt in Client consultation, Contraindications, Device Handling, Treatment Techniques with various skin conditions, Pre and Post Treatment Care. During the practical you will be required to demonstrate correct treatment protocols and safety protocols. We will be covering all treatment protocols and advanced treatments.
