  • What plasma is, what it does to skin, and how strong the evidence really is
  • Your SkinCool+, its ten heads, the settings and the argon supply
  • Safety: argon, ozone, eyes, fire, the room, infection control and waste
  • Consultation, contraindications, skin typing, lesions, patch testing and consent
  • Cold plasma heads 1 to 6 and hot plasma heads 7 to 10, with aftercare and complications
  • Claims, the law and your client records

How it works

You study 8 hours 25 minutes at home at your own pace, then attend one classroom day (09:00 to 17:30) at 26 The Avenue, Southampton, where you treat live models with both handles. You are assessed by a written assessment and two separate practical observations, one for cold plasma and one for hot plasma. Entry requires Level 3 Anatomy and Physiology and Level 3 Beauty Therapy, or equivalent, and insurance naming plasma before you treat.
