How it works

Work through eleven lessons at your own pace, with a knowledge check after each teaching lesson, then complete your final assessment. The course prepares you for the supervised practical day on live models, where your trainer observes you against a competency checklist before sign-off. Reading Sections 1 to 4 before your training day is recommended. The course does not replace your machine manufacturer’s instructions or your own insurer’s conditions.
